Katerina Turner is lost in her life. She has pushed her friends away, barely speaks with her mother, and, worst of all, is beginning to regret her marriage after only six months.
One summer afternoon, on the verge of tears, she spots an old man in a golden suit with a ridiculously long beard wrapped around his waist twice. Drawn to him for reasons she can’t explain, Katerina follows him, only to find herself alone in an alley.
An unassuming metal door begins to shimmer with tendrils of golden light reaching for her. It’s a portal leading to moments beyond her own time.
